Kelly's Blog - Welcome!
I love making resin art!
It’s a wonderful, colorful, somewhat unpredictable medium. I start with resin – a two part compound of resin (which comes from plants) and a hardener, which causes the resin to harden to a glossy finish. Then I add paints, ink, bits of glass or sand, or even gold or silver powder.
I create pieces on wood, MDF board, canvas, and even tile. In my blog, I’ll share with you things like: how I make art, to what inspires me, to the “back story” on particular pieces, and anything else I think you might want to know. If you’ve got an idea, use my contact page to let me know and perhaps it will become a future blog post. Hope you enjoy!
